Tattoo Bio: I was exposed to tattoos at a very young age. My uncle, Clark Calhoun, was a tattoo artist. He had done alot of work on my uncle Roy and their friends. Those images are embedded in my brain to this day. I received my first proffessional tattoo after completing boot camp. I got the traditional "Marine Corps Bulldog" tattoo. While in the military, I drew tattoo designs for my fellow Marines. In 1996, my uncle Clark passed his tattoo equipment on to me. He gave me some pointers and I was off tattooing my friends. In 1998, I entered a traditional apprenticeship with a local Master Tattooer. I worked for this gentleman until 2008. Within that time, I was exposed to some of the areas best tattooers. I now work at the New York Tattoo Company, with my good friend and boss Scott Thompson.

I enjoy working in many different styles and mediums. I have worked with everything from pencils to computers. I feel that each of these has made me a better tattooer. Having worked in street shops, I have been exposed to the many styles of tattooing. I enjoy all of them. My favorite medium outside of tattooing is watercolor.

I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland. I have been a resident of Lee County since 1983. I am blessed to share my life with my wife Sarah and our three beautiful sons; Logan, Hayden and Brenden.
